The extraction elements (and the revive feature!!) Make it feel much more like an open world survival game than an extraction one. The mechanics are stupid fun and the looting isn't invasive. You don't even have to loot static stuff unless you truly want to, because you can find so much good stuff at pvp events and the like. I'm a fan boy. Sad it has an NDA right now

Hello one of those people, I really don't get the appeal of gambling with your loot, Like bad day on Battlefield? all good you lost nothing but patience, extraction shooters just kick you when youre already down from having lost a match IMO (yes ive played a few and just always feel 10x worse when I lose a match than in other genres)

@@Geejay412 the foundation of gambling is that you have to lose to win. When the price of losing is enough to hurt, the rush of victory and overcoming a challenge is the core of a game like this. It's ok to prefer other game styles. I'm just a fiend for that moment where you are left standing, surrounded by corpses, held together with nothing but hope, and somehow you make it out with the spoils. No guts, no glory!

I'm shocked that when reading the comments I didn't see the most obvious comparison. This game is if you turned Just Cause 4 into a fairly serious multiplayer extraction shooter. Right down to grappling, and parachuting into a tornado. Hell, even being able to control the weather with towers. Lol. Not knocking it. I love the Just Cause series so I'm diggin' this game quite a bit.

When you are set on 3rd Person view, your model animations have to be on point! I think The Division spoiled that for me, the game had a lot of flaws, but none of them were model animations...
