Hey Tom love your content how did you get the Aqueon Rims off? I don't wanna break em but man that would be nice quality of life improvement for some of my tanks!!!
@TOMReefer6 ай бұрын
They aren’t easy to pry off, but they will come off. Use a utility knife to cut the silicone under the rim. Slowly start prying it up.

Hey Tom great to show people that , there is never enough news on outage. It’s not if it’s when. It happened to me in April and I was prepared for 2 days but it was out 4. I ran an inverter from my car to charge my batts with solar panels. ITS WHEN !!!!!

Very, very beautiful and nice this column nano reef tank with it's shape; and structure stones and corals, and fish is beauty.

Oddly enough, the setup on there is kind of perfect for creating the loop affect for the fish. That’s how aquariums get larger animals to stay happy as well and the damsel seems to be quite content in his loop. Really awesome build!

Good stuff Tom I do love my nano tanks my 13.5 has been running for 7 months now and starting to do really well. Set up a 10 gallon about a month ago with 2 clowns and some nems and a little 5 gallon I got the salt bug bad

Tom, that painting is beautiful! Great job! Also, I see you’ve got an AI Prime over your 10 gallon. Which light do you like better, the A80 or the Prime? (Ignoring the power/PAR difference. I’m curious about your thoughts on the appearance of the light produced).
@TOMReefer7 ай бұрын
Hi Rob, I like the A80 for its shimmer and works well with any coral, however the Ai offers much more control. I like the Ai over the 10 best. I can color correct the look of the tank so to speak, to make it look just like I want it to look 😊👍🏻
Looking good Tom...question about zoas. What do you think makes some zoas polyps really big but others seem to stay incredibly small?
@jasonyang52967 ай бұрын
In my experience Ive seen my zoa's grow bigger and spread more when I kinda neglect my tank and leave it a tad dirty. I got my zoa's from tidal gardens
@TOMReefer7 ай бұрын
Could be a few things. Light, water parameters. As Jason said, a bit higher on No3 could also be helpful.

Hey tom, I bought a rose bubble and you had a vid about splitting that I watched. You fed everyday .I am gonna do the same ! How many pellets a day should I feed? Thx johnny
@TOMReefer3 ай бұрын
@@JohnRamos-u2m hey Johnny, I fed the SA slow sinking. I soaked in selcon, then forced them in a small baster. Then spot fed. Maybe 10 pellets. But they were 5mm size

Hey Tom, cool painting your vids are always 🔥. Question on tangs . Are their any other things beside phosphate rx that can kill them. I am going to go back to biota and get another tang. I started the tear down. Then couldn’t do it. I have to restart a fuge . I did take that down . Now gotta start that again. I will never use a chem. Again! A vid on how to not hurt our pets with these chemicals out there . Would be a great help to a lot of people out there. Things not to do . I just don’t want that to happen to anyone else. I am sure you have some more input on that stuff. I am not trying to be depressing. But these mistakes that we make can hurt. Smash the likes guys!!!!!!!! I am getting ready to build a 6x22x22 star fire glass tank. And am shaking in my boots, should be fun though,gonna follow your 75 build.🐳🐬🐋🐟

Hey Tommy any cheap suggestions for a wave maker for a 24 gallon, only softies and lps (not to many gallons per hour)

Hey Tom! Please help!! I’m setting up a Hello Reef Clownfish/Anemone tank. The kit came with all I need so it’s great for getting started in this great hobby! I’m currently on Day 6 of cycling, no animals, seems to be going well but my pH is below 7.4! Bringing in outside air isn’t possible. What can I do!?
