However he couldn't come up with a good punchline and eventually decided to make the fact that they're a Jehova's Witness the punchline instead.

It was supposed to be obvious Jehovah's witness trying to get in with lots of puns but he scraped it for the vampire trying to get in who wasn't a vampire after all but a Jehovah's witness.
