Greetings Tom, I yelled at the TV to remind yall about the stern light wire, but you didn't hear me 😂 I like the zipper pouch in the front. I would add a cabin LED in the middle. You made installation look easy as usual. I'm going to check out the package at PontoonStuff. These are nice additions.

We must have heard your yelling because we remembered to install the light just in time! It's really a pretty straight forward installation. Takes a bit of time with the added wiring, but well worth it for the ease of use!

The price was right where I thought it would be. Sometimes, I wish I wasn't so knowledgeable in electro-mechanical technology, knowing costs can be discouraging at times. On the other hand, it's a beautiful thing. Having the skills to shop the parts and friends to fabricate the system is priceless.

@@awakenedtotruth8419 I do the same thing when it comes to building things out of aluminum...I can't justify buying something that I can build. Plus it's fun for me!

Is this the same as the sureshade power Bimini? If so does it work with the shade extension as well??

Great question. They've shipped a couple different power biminis over the past few years depending on availability. On the website now it's advertised as the PWR-ARM. I am installing one next week and will try to look. Otherwise, you could give Pontoon Stuff a call or email their customer service and they will probably be able to answer that.

Pretty sure it is. The little pocket in the front of the Bimini you mentioned should be where you can add the shade extension.

@@tomspontoons one last question then I’ll leave you alone Tom. Have you ever tried the sureshade extension? I’m torn between getting the power Bimini and extension or just getting a double Bimini.

@@adaminjp All good! I have not done the extension nor a double bimini unfortunately. I've not had any requests for either one up here in Michigan where we try to catch all the sun we can. I like the look of the extension though, makes sense and seems simple.

Another Great Video Tom, I understand that people want simplicities in life, but this is just another rich lazy boy's way to get out of the water, just my opinion, but if you can't simply manually put up and down your Bimini top maybe you should stay home and watch TV, like I said, just my opinion, Peace Brother

I get it, but pontoon boats have become very popular as a safer option for older folks who might struggle with a modern heavy bimini…especially if it’s on a covered lift where it needs to go up and down every time they boat. It might be the difference of using their boat even!

I'm only in my early 40's and have no problem manually moving my Bimini top, but a couple years ago we had twin boys and I can tell you being on the boat with two 2 year old boys and just me and my Wife there is always so much going on and having to constantly keep an eye on the kids. I'm about to order a powered bimini and I can't wait to have it. I should have ordered it with my boat from the factory.
