0:17 This young Japanese woman is Kazu Makino and, according to the end credits and the IMDb, she provided vocals to the soundtrack; she's likely seen also at 0:12 and her voice might be heard at 0:42. A couple of years later Kazu Makino founded noise rock band Blonde Redhead with Italian twin brothers Amedeo and Simone Pace. They still record and tour after more than thirty years. I once read a Facebook post by Kazu Makino saying that she met John Lurie in Japan. Judging from the tone of that post I had the feeling that they were in a relationship and he brought her to New York where she later met the Pace brothers. This TV series is produced by a Japanese broadcaster by the way.

the reason for that is because a Japanese broadcaster funded the entire series - John Lurie TRIED to get American funding dollars for the project, but no one would touch it, citing that it's too weird, bizarre, etc. Shows what American broadcasters know.

Most TV is pre planned and orchestrated (assuming that's what you mean by prefabricated, which mean already built) How did you think the camera man got in Leon's house before John and Tom knocked. Man TV must have had you fooled a long time if your only nowrealisig TV shows aren't just made by turn on a camera and Hoping so etching interesting will happen.
