finally found a video where someone is demoing an axe fx through a 4x12 and not direct. thank you!

I run my AXE FX through 2-4x12 Boogie Cabs and the sound is pretty impressive. I now use a Friedman BE-100 and I can't plug my guitar into anything else these days.

Štěpán Kříž Myslím že to je tím, že je to snímané mikrofonem v místnosti.. je to slyšet i na jeho hlasu že je takovej rozplizlej... ale vsadím se že to v místnosti znělo skvěle..

Štěpán Kříž Too digital? If you were in the room with both those cranked 4x12s you'd never know the fucking difference idiot.

I had the use of one for a week. I used both a solid state & a Tube power amps into both guitar & full range cabs. The pre amp sounds didn't sound as good as my own amps. It still doesn't feel like a real amp. The effects are good though. But for close to $3k with the switch & expression pedals, I can buy my favorite effects & put them to good use. I think using more processor power to replace a good amp is like kicking water uphill. It's just not going to happen.

Some of the most successful people in history also get the most hate. Look at it this way Mark. If you had no success and nobody knew you then you wouldn't have a douche subscribe to you just to dislike you. His negativity is just further proof your doing it right. Keep the videos coming.

i really like your videos, so this question will be up your alley. i just purchased a line 6 pod hd500 and want to run it concurrent with my rocktron voodu valve via an a/b box. now here is the question, how can i run both through my carvin ht150 power amp which then goes out to 2 2x12 cabinets. thx for your input. p.s i like your journey covers:) you need some styx and reo songs. some triumph wouldn't hurt either. :)

Hi Mark. Love your vids and love your playing. Hope to visit Tone Merchants someday (if they'll let a hack like me through the door!). Anyway, I was wondering why you all prefer the Boss FV500L pedal over something from Mission Engineering? Thanks!

Mark can you explain how the wah expression pedal is activated? can the wah effect be set to off if the pedal is at either extreme? I couldn't quite figure out how you were going from a straight rhythm sound to having the wah activated

Mark - Awesome vid. How are you getting the feedback? Is it due to where you are sitting in relation to the amp/cabs, or can the Fractal do this? I didn't know if there was a block that mimics feedback on the Axe II.

hey sam! I wanna buy a power amp for my axe fx 2. would u recommend solid state like the gt1000fx or rather tube power amp like mesa or fryette 2/50? wanna go through mesa 4x12 cab. thanks in advance!

Hello Mark, a question for you, I´m thinking to buy the Axe FX III, what else I need to have the sound I´m hearing on this video, I mean obviously you're telling us on your video what you´re using (two cabinets and anything else) I'm not a pro and I just play electric guitar as a hobby and I love your sound, but when you shot with the iPhone 4s, the sound you produce is coming from the iPhone too? thank you for reading this annoying question, by the way I'm not an English speaker, excuse my mistakes
@samhillband6 жыл бұрын
I don't really understand the question. The video was shot with the iPhone and audio was from recorded using the Tascam mic attachment for the phone. No post processing.
@HardRockHeavyMetal6 жыл бұрын
Ok, I understand and pleased with the answer, the thing is if I buy the Axe FX III, it would be posible to replicate your sound?

@ngdguitar508111 жыл бұрын
So based on what I know on the prices of the individual components (an AxeFx II will run 2k just by itself) I figure we're looking at maybe 5k for the whole rig (excluding 4x12 cabinet)? It's gorgeous for sure and worth every dime, but just curious. Love all your vids and your playing too - sickest tones ever. : )

Not furr me ethier! ampsimulations are nice with effects, dependable yes! But personally rather spend it on a serous amp! If your on the road & studio Im sure racksystems are the way to go! But you still need that amphead&cab for stage sound unless your Phill Collins-"sticky sweet". loves his Jacksons USA.

Why the 500L, and not the 500H? I don't know the difference...
@nhudson787 жыл бұрын
Always get the H. Stands for high impedance and basically the H can be used as an expression pedal or a regular audio volume. Best of both. The L would not work for audio signal.
