These are the best videos ever. Man what power in this unit! Scenes is the way to go for me, and that means less stomping! Genius! It just keeps getting more and more pro every day. Fractal is also addressing minor bug fixes at the fastest rate I've ever seen a company put out firmware changes. It's like watching evolution on fast forward!

You should check the blocks in the patch. I also downloaded a patch and found a block was waiting for input from an expression pedal for volume. I don't have an expression pedal, so no volume was ever applied, hence no sound. Bypassed the block, and away we go.

According to the designer Cliff, the only difference (between Axe FX II, and mk II) is the ethernet connectors of the back of the Axe and on the MFC have been beefed up to prevent breaking.

How do you switch programs when your in scenes, can you only use 2 amps or in your x,y can you have 2 amps in x and 2 in y or just x is amp1 and y is amp 2. Thanks your lessions are very helpfull for my old self thanks again

I'm fairly new with AF2/Mfc. Just followed this tutorial so I now understand the scenes concept somewhat. Problem I'm having is I downloaded the Metropolis.syx but I have no sound? Is your preset setup for rear input? (I'm using front in for Mag and rear input 1 Right for my piezo)

Hi Cooper, great playing and video. Question, I just picked up an Axe Fx 2, 1st gen and was going to get an MFC-101. Does the silent button on the Mark 3 really make a difference? I have an opportunity to pick up a Mark 2 cheap, and seeing as how you cant really get anything direct from Fractal without getting on a long ass waiting list, I need to get a switch ASAP. Appreciate your input. Thanks!

but you have to have the MFC 101 this won't work with any midi pedal like the FCB-1010, midi-buddy, etc.

Hey man- love the Metropolis preset and the different scenes. I uploaded them to my Axe II last night and I get no sound out of any of the patches. The cab and amp blocks were all grey'd out in Axe Edit (I know I shouldn't be using it) - any clue what is wrong and what I can do to fix this? Would love to rock out with these patches. Thanks man!

Since you have all your effects for one band in one preset and 5 scenes, is it possible to quickly change to another preset?

I would love to see the ability to name scenes even if it was just a few characters. Does anyone have any tips on how to keep their scenes organized? I would hate to land on the wrong scene mid-song. Do I have to rebuild my presets for each scene or is their a way to import presets in to a scene?

Hey Cooper, when using a preset and switch from scene 3 to scene 5 there is a gap. How can I ditch the gap, cause it's awefull in the song I play. Regards Leon

hi there ok, i am trying to setup the scenes on my axe fx. i am having a problem with the output level. lets say scene 1- i have distortion rhythm and all the effects are bypass. and the scene 5- lead. and the time i switch scene 5, the volume level gets down.. do you have any idea why is that. thank you.
