Right you are. And, Daryl would often practice retrograde piano scales during the breaks. Several arrangers prepared charts each show. Each episode was 2 (3-4) hour sessions every Wednesday. Outstanding rubber band playing by Daryl Dragon, one of the world's most underrated musical geniuses. Few people realize the difficulty in getting the intonation precise. I'm reading Toni's book. How deeply disturbing and sad to read that "Captain" Daryl NEVER showed any affection towards her in all the time they were together. I wish she had divorced him after 9 years, instead of waiting for 39 years of married life. From reading her book, it is clear that Daryl had profound, serious psychological problems. All considered, Toni came through the experience brilliantly. She's a marvellously-talented, smart and beautiful lady.
