A restaurant in Sacramento near the Capitol used to make a really nice chicken yakinuki that was spicier than typical. The sauce was amazingly good. Served over a bed of rice with a few other things. I miss Allen's restaurant.

This dish is a staple in my diet!!! I do JC101 tonkatsu atleast once a month. The daikon/ponzu dip is new to me and i have to try it out. Thank You once more for the inspirations!

Look up “Gyukatsu” here on KZbin, the only thing is these tend to be pretty rare

@@xarachannelsthehijabwitch. Be aware that beef might be sensitive when it comes to cooking time. You don´t want to overcook it so it becomes dry. Another alternative, if You are avoiding pork, is chicken. Good luck and bon apetite!
