I went Crappie fishing last Friday and I caught 17 and for some reason they were some if the biggest crappie I have caught all year. Three of them were over 13 inches, I couldn;t believe how big the fish were. All that I kept were over 10 inches easy. I did catch some small ones, but the majority of them were huuuuuge!

After watching many of your crappie videos I started using the bobby garland jigs especially monkey milk and have increased numbers. Last week it was so hot here but got on a big school in about 16 ft of water under a very small bridge with two columns. Last Tuesday I caught 27 but all were from 8 to 9 inchers. 10 inch limit here on lake tellico. But I had a blast. Fishing is therapy for me.
