@@mayhem5235 Well, the difference is that T&L and Ark are not developed by them, they have a Korean developer which makes them P2W, but at least every feature works. NW is developed by them, hence half the features don't work or partially work.

I've seen interest from both console and PC players to hop on console version. People are full of doom and gloom, the game has been going to shit since launch. Yet people are interested. The game will either be a shitshow like always when October patch hits, or the game might actually finally have a future. Fucking done with people doom posting a game that they state that they hate. hey if you still find joy and satisfaction in playing, please get some extra for me i unfortunately struggle to enjoy playing it anymore and i really wish i didn't feel that way because it really was such a pleasant game to play, going mining and chopping down some trees but unfortunately the late game and the pvp aspects are what hurt my enjoyment and ultimately all of the pvp gear/weapon artifacts having near incompletable quests to unlock all the perks

Homies put the bow fix in every patch for the last 6 patches. Crazy how they said they will focus on fixes until October, and we got 7 fixes in 2 months. Either the release is not even half ready, or they took a vacation until October, not that they would actually work at AGS, it's just a money laundry studio.

AGS failed to realize a few things. All gamers watch a video or 2 before jumping into a new game because the gaming market these days is terrible and most games come broken. Player counts affect new players greatly and last but not least game play reviews play a massive role in desire to try a new game.

Everywhere you lokk there are people telling console to stay away its a dead game there are to many bugs. Been playing the closed beta on console. I ended up joining the beta through the xbox insider program, so I didn't use a key. Overall, I've been having fun exploring the world. The story is whatever, the combat and leveling is interesting. Tho the NPC look horrible. It feels like they just used the random button on create a character and said good enough. Gonna keep playing through, but gonna wait on spending 60 bucks when it comes out later this year.

They need to pull out 2 brimstonesandslike free expansions, 3 new maps for pvp arenas anda another 3 for outpostrush and polish the game from the ground up. Artifacts are fun but they need to be on the backburner because of their disruptive nature to balance and possibility for new bugged interactions or worst bad design from the start (looking at you Anhk and shierking heals meta)

Console players are hungry for a new mmorpgs, we will be cautious at first. Blue Protocol, Chrono Odyssey, Throne & Liberty or New World one of them has to be good. Personally Throne and Liberty has my vote so far, f2p and not p2w. You have a choice if you want to buy cosmetics. Open world, no portals, you see it you can explore it. It has potential if chrono odyssey doesn't crush it.

Yet another MMO ruined by mismanagement and lack of proper focus/long-term goals. And, in this case in particular, somehow constantly fixing-then bringing back bugs. The number of times various bugs have come-gone-returned etc. (or "fixed" but not actually fixed) is astounding and shows how they are a poorly run team and how the underlying design must be poor to bad. Finally, yet again, such a shame when we have a great looking world, good combat and many other good elements... this is right now a solid+ MMO that should be really enjoyable to play to a chunk of the MMO community... so very frustrating.

I'm no expert in gaming industry but somehow this game genre never seemed to me as console game. Also there is overlap with this game genre players in owning both PC and console so the ones who would be into it most likely have already played it on PC. This is what I think. There will be some of those who fall to that ARPG claim and then go wtf when they enter the game. Maybe they don't care about that so much and keep on playing but consoles are to my understanding very fast paced on the side of switching to the latest trending game so I wouldn't assume many console gamers who end up in New World to stick there long enough. But hey, devs did burn the bridges with PC players and made it certain that most will never come back. That is quite an achievement. Unfortunately New World had much promise but devs totally failed to capitalize on it.

devs are completely against their own game since start of the current season, new world is the only mmo interesting me, but they completely killed the community in the game and vanished every improvements, this huge shift in marketing / informations / new stuff in a service game will hurt basically the same way as they killed game launch i really hope they maintain the game, but all of these bad choices look very bad, i start to be even disgusted to have played rerolls fo rthe reworked story, as they "reworked and finalised/polished" entirely the main questline again... and i dont have free slot anymore :(
