Tony Benn is a very good man and sadly we have no one like Tony in politics today.

I would say we have, in Jeremy Corbyn. They were very close friends.

As a young person, I paradoxically only became aware of Benn with his death. My dad isn't particularly political but even he had tears in his eyes when he told me that whatever your politics, you had to admire Benn as a man of principle, integrity and compassion. It's only since then that I've discovered Benn's democratic socialist beliefs, and he has been my own guide to the state of British politics today. That is why I voted leave, and that is why I fully support Mr Corbyn. Thank you Tony

There is no firmer ground than the Truth & that was the platform from which he spoke.

And Keir Starmer is defecating all over Benns heritage as he is killing off Labour.
