I got all of the games through Project 8 the day they came out, but I remember this games release day the most. It might be my favorite now that I think about it. For years I thought 4 was. At least if I’m talking about the pro skaters. American wasteland might be my favorite of them all

Same. THPS4 was my favorite PS2 game the moment I got a PS2 along with this and a couple of other games... until THUG1 came out and that became my new favorite TH game. I'm currently replaying THPS4 and I still love THPS4 to this day. As for THPS3, ironically, my first TH game was the Game Boy Color version of THPS3 (I never played the console version) and it was... ehh...

a few suggestions for your first question would be games you played in 2015, plot twists you didn't see coming, games you like that everyone else doesn't (or other way around) and walking animations just to name a few. and for your second question medievil, castlevania sotn, sheep dog'n wolf (would love to see that one) and harvest moon. btw great vid as normal pal always the highlight of my day (;

Have you heard of a PS1 game called Theme Park World? Really liked that game, not exactly "Action-packed blowing people's heads off!" so it's not for everyone. Also loved Darth Maul on a skateboard, so that's what he's been doing after Star Wars

I was really young when I got these 2 games on playstation 2 and I unlocked Daisy in THPS4 without knowing what she was and the code to unlock her was weird in my opinion, but I now know what it was and now I question my younger self about it. (I was 9 then)

I wonder if you should go back through these ones. You've clearly matured as a creator and I think you would have something deeper now. Next year maybe. I've always thought 3 was by far the best Tony Hawk game (Although 1+2 is better now). In fact, I think 3 is in some ways the last real game, and 4 is something else. THPS4 was the closest style to an old THPS of the games that followed (without worrying about Ride or Downhill Jam or other games with limited controls), but it wasn't the same game. You can make an argument for the career mode, but I feel like losing 2 minute rounds for open world-ish play killed the tight gameplay loop. I like open world games, but they're for a different type of play. I think there were a lot of games that lost the tight play by going open world SSX3 and Burnout Paradise in particular. Imagine if you had a football game (American, Association, Australian rules, Foosball, it's your choice). You take that game and make it open world, where you aren't on a timer and can score on any goal and people give you tasks to perform with your ball (whichever kind). Could the game work? Sure. Is it at all the same thing? No.

I almost had an aneurysm trying to do the snake run objective on the kona level thps4. The way they don't let you slow down at all has me me cotton mouthed from spitting so much while yelling at the TV. I may need medication or a may just need to skip that objective.

-1:18 You could have reviewed the GameCube version since you have a GameCube or something. I mean, the GameCube version runs somewhat better than the PS2 one anyways. And you mentioned the N64 at the start of the video, which happened to be the system that got THPS3 as the last game in the series for that platform. The N64 may not be a sales juggernaut as the PlayStation, and it's sad to not see any more N64 games come out after THPS3.

5:57 PS2 again? You could have played the Xbox version considering how slow PS2 memory cards are when loading and saving stuff. I didn't play THPS4 on GameCube, but I have yet to check out how fast memory cards load and save in that one. Other than the PlayStation port, I spent most of my time with the Xbox and Polish PC ports of THPS4, and loading and saving career files is a breeze.

Thps 4 isn’t as good when you played inline skaters, the gameplay isn’t as good but the rest is better, basically you don’t speak to people to start missions, they are all there and you don’t have a timer. Missions change the level a lot and are incredibly fun... I just wish it wasn’t on roller blades

THPS 3 is okay. But why do you have to do every task for every skater??? It's such a chore to do. You will get bored of it after a while,and the game just sits there forever until you feel like playing it again. If I beat THPS 3 once with a skater that I like,that's it. I past it. I like the levels especially the cruise ship but the tasks for every skater that I have to do I really hate.
