For those who don't know hockey all too much, "Far too head of you to catch up." Jaromir Jager played from 1990-2016 in the NHL, and is 2nd in the NHL for total points. He is still nearly a thousand points behind Wayne despite Wayne playing nearly 300 games less. That's how good Wayne Gretsky is, and why I consider him the GOAT of all sports. Its very hard to be considered that for any sport, but nobody has ever came close to being even similar to him. Phenomenal.

One of Tony hawks line hit kind of hard if you understand how ice skates work. "The ice underneath you will he melted into water when I hit you with a trick thats even hotter than your daughter" it's word play but throws some info into it ice skates use pressure that melts and as you glide on the bead of water as it passes through the blade it refreezes

Now I don't consider myself a 'true sports fan' but when I heard the matchup I definitely thought they would have to pull of something really special to give Tony a chance. The only real bar they gave him was "Oiler alert! You're about to be traded." but even that once is kind of niche. So yeah, I call this one for Gretzky by a mile.

Why does this video not have more views. Well probably because most people know Gretsky outside US and Canada. Plus that line about world records is kinda nonsense since it's due to the differecnce in Hockey - which is highly competive, regualtion and organised - vs skating which harder to quantify since it's about doing tricks on your board with your friends

Hawk missed a golden opportunity for a "had it, lost it!" burn. The guy playing Gretzky was not as slick a raper as the guy playing Hawk, but nothing could overcome my bias for the Great One over a skateboarder. I'm not sure anyone has ever dominated their sport the way Gretzky did.

I mean when comparing sports skateboarding never has been in the public eye as casual people dont understand difficulty involved hockey on the other hand is not to mention one is more of a culture than a sport has a sense of community rather than a competitive nature. dont get me wrong bars flow fire on both sides but the out spun by kid line is kinda not a diss as 900 on 20ft ramp 1080 50/60ft mega ramp size difference plus smaller kid can spin quicker logic.
