Excellent!!! I have one thought to share. Please try this sometime. Have Tony play the melody while Chad plays harmony. Not that this would be an improvement, just that it might be a nice addition. Thanks for sharing this!

Hey Tony and Chad...thanks for the great music. You guys are incredible players. I live in southern Ohio and very near the Scioto River. Is the Scioto River what this tune refers to?

Tony, would there be any way I could buy a copy of this recording... the music, such as mp3 form? I love this playing of the song. I have looked at commercially available versions and I don't like them half as much. Please answer!

Lantanana Hello.... Chad here. We don't really have anything for sale at this point. I did record this tune on my 1st CD, you can find it on iTunes. Maybe we need to record an Acoustic Letter CD? Something to think about....
@Lantanana9 жыл бұрын
Acoustic Letter Thanks Chad. I did go buy your CD 'Mandolin Escapes'. The version on that CD is better than the other versions I have found. But I do still like the version with Tony better. No offense! Your CD is great and will be a welcome addition to my music collection!

Not my style of music...I grew up on "mountain music in West-by-God-Virginia- and there were few people running around w/o a fiddle, a guitar, or a mandolin in their hands ready to jam anytime...I'm not kidding, this is no BS its just they way things are/were etc....I had a buddie who wrote books on playing the claw-hammer banjo technique for playing, who's whole house was covered from floor to ceiling with banjo's hanging everywhere...rocking chairs everywhere...playing from dawn to 3-4 in the morning..etc. he worked in a downtown pawn shop to feed his instrument purchases, the same applied to guitar players, violin artists and on down the line... Its just the way things were...I was more into playing country-rock fusion music...Laurel Canyon California style ..Jackson Browne, Neil Young...style music..but we-I could play just about anything...I liked to play too...we just grew up that way, its simply the way things were...
