Tony is the real thing, and he has truly changed me life. If you've seen him in person or if you have watched how his feet have moved for the past 30 years, you will realize that it's rare to see a human being with this big of a heart. This year, Tony is doing a 100 million meal challenge, and he has already personally donated 50 million meals. Simply an inspiration.

When I was seven my dad had left our family of five children. It was Christmas Eve and we had no money and no food in the house. There was a knock at the door. It was the Boy Scout leader, Mr Pitroski. He had 11 children and his family was very poor. He came to our house to deliver many bags of groceries. I remember my Mom crying, knowing he was just as poor and yet he came to make our Christmas joyous. I reached into a grocery bag and pulled out a string of red and green lollipops. I was so thrilled. I will never forget his kindness.

The educated inform by imparting knowledge. Robbins employs narrative around the knowledge using emotional attachment to elicit your attention. It's just a device. The truly charitable never disclose their contribution because humility seeks no reward. When you play up your philanthropy it turns into something you're deriving personal benefit from.
