little tony Royster!! well he's not little anymore, I'm a retired Drummer with the United States Army Band! use to played with Tony Roster senior the father! very good guitar Player! met little tony when he was just a little boy! his father told me some stories on when he first started playing! it was a gift from god. his father said he use to take little tony with him on gigs when he got tired he use to sleep in his guitar case! one day he just got behind the drum and just started playing!! I can say he's one of the best in the world!!.

Jimmy Smith - I used to work with Tony Sr as well, met Tony Jr & his brother a couple times at unit softball games / functions.

Jimmy Smith He used to live on my street when we were kids. We would also stop by his house to see if he could come play, but he was usually practicing. His dad had big things planned for him and all that sacrifice paid off.

Tony Royster Jr, undeniably a master at his craft. Words fail to accurately describe the amount of power, control, accuracy and groove Tony applies to his playing.

Does everyone else realize that Tony is playing over the drums on the song, but his timing is so good that not once does the track drum piece come through. BURY THE CLICK TONY!

The PASSION for the music MUST come first....this is something you are BORN with, either you Have it or you Don't...If you don't then keep practicing. It's a good Spiritual feeling that you get (not from drugs) but when you can express yourself by yourself at home or the studio FOCUSED on every chord, keyboard stroke, guitar stroke, BASS line melody and synchronization with no judges, music directors, choir directors etc. but you are in your own world making the rules and into the music....no one can take that away from you.

Does anyone know how drummers do live play alongs exactly like Tony did in this video? I wanna know what I need to get the music playing through the PA system and my headphones simultaneously while I'm playing. If there's a way I could get the music playing through the PA system but with the simultaneous click track through my headphones as well that would be a huge plus.
