Nice to see the old bugger looking so well. Hospital is no joke but maybe it's just what he needed to help him see that people care about him even though we've never met. None of us are getting any younger and it helps to realise that every now and again because when we used to hit the ground, we jumped back up but now, it's best not to hit the ground at all but if you do you have to stay there for a bit until things settle down.

Tony must have been really sick. Glad he is home and better. Funny how we as viewers become "attached" to the people we watch. I fear that another content provider I watch has encountered something similar as he hasn't posted in month, but I still go to the channel and post, asking and praying. I started smoking at 16 years, I just quit cold turkey in February this year (I'm 48) and yeah, the breathing is still not good. I'll never vape, that stuff is evil, I breathed enough oil vapor on old tractors and farm trucks when I was a kid :D But yeah, I feel for you Tony. I hope you don't have any relapses. I was so worried as 3 days after Tony went in, my Aunt passed away due to pulmonary disease, and my father in law is sadly dying due to cancer complications. Smoking and vaping are both horrible and get you in the end. Stay safe FD and Jeff

Jeff, you and Tony are two of my favorite people. Digital OR analog. It's good to see Tony again, and I'm very glad he's doing so much better. I've been skeptical of vaping from the start. I quit smoking after 29 years, and have been off them for about 25 now. I'm sure I added years to my life. I hope Tony's back to 100% again soon. You two are informative and very entertaining. Far more than we can say for most of the dreck that comes out of Hollywood these days. All the best to you both.

30 or 40 years ago I had several mentors in the Tech Shop where I worked that remind me of the interactions between you two curmudgeons. Good times. They taught me a lot of valuable lessons… some about how to be a better Tech… some about how to be a better man… some about how to be a better prankster… some about how to roll with the punches and punch back (playfully) when it was expected and respected. You guys play well together. Thanks very much for the life lessons and entertainment.

Tony…….so so glad to see your alright and back home again! We have had some similar experiences lately. I’m now 73 and smoked since I was 9 (never quit nor did I try). A few yesrs ago I had a bad case of Pneumonia and was in ICU fo 5 days. Doc said he almost lost me one night that they had me in the medical coma. When I got out I haven’t smoked a cigareete (nor vaped) since, In January of this year (2024), I had to get a triple bypass surgery on my heart! I never watched what I was eating. I enjoyed life and was now paying for it. The other thing is that my body always took care of me and healed quickly when I was younger. This getting old stuff makes it so I can’t depend on my body as much and it won't heal very quickly anymore. Haha Anyway Tony, glad your well and back home! Jeff, Thank You very very much for this Tony fireside interview and update!! Your a wonderful man Jeff and a great friend to Tony!
