wow!!! real, pure rock-n-roll, funny, perky, carefree)) in Russia nobody plays such a thing. But we have our own, Russian rock, which also does not look like anything else, be it Agatha Christie, Black Coffee or Konstantin Stupin

I’d say Tony hated playing that wretched song! Great guitarist though! I know it was Bert kampfert,s idea!

But what a terrible song. I’m surprised it was ever released at all!

Hi! Bonnie is an old English/Scottish folk tune. Tony was approached by Polydor to record an album for the teenage market in Germany, where Bonnie was taught in schools. The idea was that they would respond to a familiar song that Tony would "rock", and they did like crazy. It wasn't his choice. My own feeling is that the only song on the album that Tony really wanted was Nobody's Child. But his guitar and vocal were fabulous---got the ball rolling!
