I know this episode is old, but Keon’s story about the coach and how he treated him, helps me better understand why my son’s coach did him almost the exact way. My son was only allowed to play Senior night? And was benched the rest of the season, because he missed a couple of practices, because my dad passed away. And during senior night, another coach said (as I was thanking them for the flowers and showing support for my son in a difficult time) “well he’s has to build up time to get back on the court, which I doubt he’ll be able to do.” My son asked the coach several times about putting him back out there and he would say “yea next game” I am still upset about that! That was his senior year, why would you punish him, for having a death in the family?! But like Keon’s situation, it was this coach first year at this school, so he may have been trying to prove a point. Still no excuse!

Boiled ribs before grilling is weird. To get the best ribs smoke them with wood at 225° for 2 hours. Wrap in foil and cook for another 2 hours. The final hour take them out of the foil and baste with bbq sauce every 15 mins. If you are going for dry ribs ( no bbq sauce) baste or spray with apple juice. Your temperature is very important so invest in a good thermometer to maintain between 225 to 250.
@jwdathefax3772 жыл бұрын
Why?……when you can boil them in half that time.🤣 The only people who really appreciates putting in all that time on some ribs are the people cooking it. If I gave the average guest a sample of both, some would pick one over the other I’m sure but it would most likely be for different reasons and most wouldn’t be able to tell the difference as long as they both were tender and seasoned well.

I think sometimes the coaches are just jealous. They were hoping to make it to the NFL or NBA and they never did or got injured and maybe they see that you have the potential to make it and they’re jealous of that! Which is too bad that adults feel that way but I feel like it’s kind of the opposite of the parents that live vicariously through their child, by making them do what they didn’t get the chance to do🤔
