Hi Tony! I think it’s our time of life. We had a crazy year last year, moving, losing both of our moms, couldn’t sell our house, basically homeless, living in our son’s spare bedroom. I’m just starting to feel almost normal again. Hang in there and I’m glad your dad’s doing better.

Theres a park n ride in Durham and 10 mins later you can be at UHND visiting dad. Agree the parking at UHND is shocking.

Happy new car. Glad your dad is ok and hope your mum feels better soon. Tough time for you but pleased to hear Ralph is doing ok. As an aside, us farmers aren’t actually allowed to spread muck now until February. Defra ruling. That’s why some tip it up in fields, they can’t spread it but haven’t build adequate storage yet to store enough to last through the ever increasing closed period.

It's like the more we get nearer the evening of life the more it gets silent. The more we have to let go. Still ...we got time and have to move on. Life is getting more precious too. Thank you for sharing, respect and love from Holland

My V60 is a state too… but I love it… dog transport , wheelchairs, trips to garden centre & B&Q…. What a babe 😊….sorry you’re having a bad time … take care Tony 🌼🌻🌼

I've been there Tony we lost my partners dad & my mum the same year too so dashing about trying to sort everything. I'm sorry to hear about Douglas he was lovely xx

When it rains it pours. My my, 120k miles is a young engine! I’ve got 175k on my Toyota Scion which is mostly Highway driving. She sat outside for her first 12 years. I drive it all over taking it on 4 hour trips several times a year. She’s almost 16 years old. Looks great runs great. I’m hoping to get another 75k miles out of her. I just spent $2500 US got tires and brakes! I only paid $21k for her new. She better last me a bit! 😂 Sounds like you dodged a bullet. Glad to hear about your dad, glad he’s better. Prayers for your mom and doggie. ✝️ looking forward to garden season.

I keep a folding electric bike in my boot. I had a hospital visit recently and it proved incredibly useful in Glasgow. Two miles away, no hassle or stress.

Oh we had such issues from 2008 to 2022. Both our parents aging and checking out one every year then aunts and a nephew, sister and friend. The death streak started with our golden retriever. We will not get another-it was tuff to get over, vet bills, bathing, ticks carrying more disease, other responsibilities with both parents and we aren’t getting any younger. There was so much more going on in those years that it would be too weird for most to believe. It all ended with a pandemic and a crazy 😵‍💫 setting up to run our country. 🤯 I blame the planet Pluto in my sign and he just leaped into Aquarius mid November. I was just curious what sun sign you were. That planet moves slow and it entered my sign in 2008 and it was the worst-I can’t even begin to tell you how bad those years were. So now that planet is in my 2nd house of money and we had to replace our truck 🙄. In the US a truck is close to needing a mortgage and matter of fact 2 houses we had bought in the past cost less than today’s trucks. So I searched continuously and FINALLY so thankful we found one that was only a year newer, but SO much better shape and trim package and my husband is jumping for joy. So Thankful! Maybe that Pluto will give us a break. Lol, and Mercury is retrograde and you should never buy big ticket items especially electronics unless you were in the process already, which we sort of were. Sorry so chatty and you probably aren’t into astrology, but it would be worth a look because planets never lie and could give you insight into why all these things are cropping up. Take care.

Ahh, Tony , what a crappy week u all have had! ❤ On a lighter note,if u can call it that? There seems to be a vomiting/dioreah bug in some of the dogs here on the coast in north Tyneside going around. A few of the dog walkers have mentioned it affecting their dogs. Maybe it's that that's affecting Ralph? 🤞🤓🌱

I am sorry to hear about Douglas and now Ralph feeling poorly. 14 is a good age for a bigger dog like them. You never now, dear Ralph may just have caught a bit if a virus. good to know yr dad is feeling better., but your mam is in a bit of a muddle yet. it takes time to recover from a stroke. and the car too! nevermind ?tony. Itis a good then you have your Mel to keep your feet in the ground. take care.

I thought my cat was on her way out last week, stayed in her bed all day, wouldn't eat, she's 13, next day back to normal ruling the house - probably (hopefully) just a 24 hour bug

Glad your Dad is settled and hope Ralph just had a 24 hour bug. Jack Ford used to sell former police cars back in the 90s, as I remember asking why most of his cars were white when I was up there looking for a car! You take care of yourself Tony.

I have no phone - it dumped me. Because I have no phone I can't get into the bank. Because I can't get into the bank, I can't pay bills. Small first world problems but they are still problems.. Hey - your mum is only a little bit older than me. No that is not a weird thing to say that she has given up - I think older people keep going because they have responsibilities and when those are taken away for any reason, they age faster. She needs to get home if she can. She will pick up then. Best wishes on the first day of meteorological winter! And say hello to your mum for me! Thanks for the video.
