Ok, so I've read a lot of comments with some of you ladies saying I will never take care of a broke man again and or I'm not dating anyone broke. It was nowhere in this message that Tony said to take care of or support a broke man(i.e. no job). He said specifically the man may not make the amount you desire them to make. However, he has an income(lower than your expectation), ambition, and drive. So because of these characteristics along w/emotional security. He is going to end up rich financially at some point. Whew, chile! Some of y'all was stressing me out in the comments.

Hello the reality is that many woman have seen the potential in a man & have stood by the man planning for a combined future expecting he will appreciate her efforts and faith in him since the beginning ... BUT. 🛑 Once the man is up and running he very often leaves the woman for someone younger prettier fresher. - So nice to know that in Tony’s situation it worked out well for the wife 😁 But because many women have been left & heart broken the new train of thought is it’s safer to go with the man who already has it together. Which makes a good man scarce! There are many more men or women to choose from if they start with men that are preparing for success if only the man would be kind faithful and standby and yes women can take some responsibilities by testing a man’s character for a long time before they commit .
@billiejean47054 жыл бұрын
4Seasons I agree with you. There’s nothing wrong with dating a man of good character but I also understand where the other women are coming from because I’ve been there. I dated a guy who didn’t make a lot of money (I would say our income was the same at the time). I motivated him, taught him how to drive etc. once he got his promotion and started making more money than me, got his License, and bought a BRAND NEW car; He started cheating on me. I will admit that he did help me pay for school, bought me nice expensive gifts but his entire character changed. He never cheated on me until he started making money. I like Tony messages mostly but I do believe that he doesn’t have an open mind about other people situation. He comes off as if he knows everything and when someone voice their opinion he tell them that they are speaking from hurt/bitterness. Yes, it’s fortunate that he didn’t do his wife like that. But from my own personal experience I built a man up and supported him through his dark days and he ended up with a BIG head and cheated on me after he came up. I left him, and once he realized that the women he was chasing after only wanted him for what he can do for them and was not with him for him, now he want me back. And I honestly am not sure if I want a man like that. 🤷🏽♀️
@janieh39504 жыл бұрын
@@4seasons546 I understand your point about seeing the potential in the men of the world and standing behind them. My 1st question is, is his potential at work or he has a vision and has yet to put it into play before you'll met. Per Tony, he had an income and his vision was in play already but moving at a slow pace. Therefore giving Mrs. Gaskins hope into what their future can become. I find that quit often these men has shown us their true colors but we have chosen to look past it because we see their potential as being bigger than their deal breaking flaws. We become fearful that that fake/lazy potential is going to flourish w/o us and they'd find another woman, so we hold on. When whole time we should've let go. If he moved on let him. He was wasting your time anyway and you knew it; but didn't want to believe it. So yes we have to take responsibility for our part. But if us believing that that financial support is going to help us ignore that they are broken We'll be right back at square one. Broken ourselves.

We met while both customers at an auto repair shop to get work done on our own Mercedes-Benz vehicles, and I love how his surname is literally "Benz" (lol yes I already fantasized about having his last name! 🙈) and I'm all thinking he'd be like my own Dean Martin Italian romantic... we'd talk about listening to Frank Sinatra, making homemade pasta and watching old Hollywood movies... him introducing me to his huge Italian family... the whole thing! He then started texting more than calling, not calling when he'd say he would, and then texted very sexual stuff which I reciprocated because I was too sprung on the _fantasy_ of all this than the reality of him NOT being a man of God, me feeding my own lustful desires, and he _still_ hasn't taken me on a date. 😫 Tried to tell me he DID ask me for a first date (to fly with him from Seattle to NY for a week...) and after our last phone call where _I_ was the one to bring up meeting somewhere local for a casual bite to eat, he ended the conversation to say he'd call back and hasn't in two days... 🤦🏻♀️ Ghosted me after being SO persistent saying he wants to see me, but when I told him he's not coming over to my place after I participated in texting back and forth with him when we were both aroused... I'm sadly not surprised. I'm glad I kept my legs closed, but I feel like I failed to do so mentally- and have a bit of regret. 😞 I'm an only child of divorced narcissistic parents so I'm more avoidant and actually like being alone, so I've gotten used to being single... But his awakening me to what _could_ have been and what I dream of has really thrown me off. 😞 Like I'm glad he showed me who he really is a couple weeks into getting my phone number, but I'm just sad at the loss.

It's a dangerous game. In this day and age, I wouldn't reccomend it because the vast majority of men will use your money and then leave when they get on. And some never get on at all. The number one reason for high divorce rates are finances, so it all can't just be based on good character.
@lilkathytaylor4 жыл бұрын
You don't take care of a man. You let a man be a man. Let him stand on his own. The only help you should give is support and peace of mind. I did it before with a grown boy so I understand how you feel. I don't want you to allow the past to have your miss the wisdom out of it and carry the hurt.

However, now I feel like saving myself is the right thing to do. I am still figuring it out but I will say that you have motivated me to get back into my spiritual side. Thank you! ^^

If a man becomes ill and can not support the family it is totally different. But Nephew Tony you had income even if it was 20K, some of the men today refuse to work , they feel that some jobs are beneath them because they are chasing their dreams. My husband and I both work; I have the option to stay home but I just would not feel comfortable sitting at home. My husband has told our son that he has to attend college full time, with good grades or seek some type of employment..(cutting the grass/washing cars).....end of story periodddddt.

Right, if a man cant even afford to live on his own how to you know hes genuine...especially when you as a woman is living nicely on her own, traveling, taking care of business. Unfortunately as a woman dating a man who is not financially stable is dangerous territory. Especially when we start getting into 30 plus in age...what is his reason for his situation? Of course hes going to be nice when he has an agenda.

Such a good video! Really glad you covered this topic. 9:00 I'd choose and always have chosen emotional security over financial security every single time. Health = Wealth! Without good health we can't acheive anything in life. A good woman will stand by her man if his integrity is fully intact! However a good woman will also care enough about her own integrity and will not put up with a man without integrity! Money is really important too and affects how you live and bring up your kids because environment also affects your children. For example I won't let my children play out with the other children in my area because there's a lack of morals and values coming from their family homes. It's very anti-social as it's considered one of the roughest areas in my city but it's about what you as a person learn and bring to your family that counts. You can learn about how money works and learn how to use it properly in order to create financial security for yourself and your children. Unfortunately I didn't learn about this until recently but I plan on learning and teaching each of my children the principles so that they can take that into their adult lives and we as women can all do this for ourselves and our kids. The principles of money are as old as the hills. Seriously, wealth operates on the same system as it always has since currency became the exchange of energy for wealth building so we can look to finding out about those principles. Screw the money men and broken toxic men especially, ESPECIALLY the men who have different women here there and everywhere. Take care of your health and emotional well being ladies! 23:00, 24:50**, **34:30**, **36:50**** 40:40 ( check out Angel number 4040) 44:50 ( angel no# 4450)

Disclaimer: I did get to the meat, i.e., the nuances and caveats, but I do have some questions: Is there no difference between an ambitious broke 20-year old man, an ambitious broke 30-year old man, and an ambitious broke 40-year old man, etc, etc? If a man has character would that character not bear fruit in his career and his finances as well? Is it not safer for older woman to go for men with both financial success AND character in order to avoid wasting even more time being deceived and dogged by broke men who have faux-character and false ambition? Side note: I know Tony tends to reference his wife marrying him for his character and potential; however, I do feel that their situation was quite unique. By his own account, not many men were like him - looking for their wife at 21 - and his wife met him when she was 19 (if I'mnot mistaken). It would've been unreasonable for her to expect him to be well-established at that age.

This is very articulate and helped me clear up exactly what I want. Now these traits are starting to turn me off faster and faster with each new man who approaches. I'm keeping my legs closed and feel so blessed. I'm newly divorced and not making mistakes today but i could have easily fallen for these poor character men. This is an outstandingly good video, thanks Tony! I never looked for the money, only the character. But I failed to assess if he is on his purpose. Sometimes it is hard to do, the devil is excellent in misleading. I had a great love who managed money well (he did not earn much), he did voluntary work, was social and helpful with everybody. He loved children (which turned out later was just pretending), took care about several gardens and animals devotedly. He made music, wrote books (which turned out he never tried to publish).I was sure I had found the love of my life. But he turned out to be a narcissist. He does all the good things on the surface to show off and to get close to vulnerable people whom he can abuse. You are perfectly right in your teaching, but discernment in practice can be sometimes very tricky. This man took away the chance from me to have children (with empty lies and broken promises) and tried to destroy me building my business and new life after him.
