You know, Coach: You're a Great Communicator--With Both Your Language AND Your Body at The Same Time--And That is Quite A Gift And Talent And Skill Set to Have! ***Another Very Talented And Skilful Communicator--And Puncher! 👊--is Russian KZbinr, "Valentyn Trostianchuk!" I also Honor Valentyn by calling him: "Coach"--Because he is So Talented, So Skilful, So Knowledgeable, So Dedicated, So Willing And Able To "Teach AND Coach" Those Who Are Willing And Able To Practice AND LEARN! Valentyn often teaches Without Speaking A Single Word!--And, Yet, He is Capable of COMMUNICATING VERY SPECIFIC CONCEPTS, VERY ACCURATELY!, With Only Body Language! I urge both Coach Jeffries and All of His Students to Visit The KZbin Channel of "Valentyn Trostianchuk"!!

Please make a video about how to train at home, by yourself (with no trainer, and NO EQUIPMENT, especially NO BAGS. This video would mean so much to me, as I want to box, but don’t have a boxing club, and I can’t really get a bag.

Don’t know if this is something that’s taught but a video on breathing and exhaling while punching would be cool. After two years now I’ve started doing the boxing “shhh” quick breath but I don’t know if I do it right. Sometimes I drool, sometimes I spit and sometimes I make other other noises. It’s hard to get that quick “shhh” the way I hear you and others do it.

Counter punches 🤔 Work backwards. For someone to hit you, they have to be angling towards you no. - so angle yourself first, and you 'll get a knowing if. - Where your opponent can and will angle towards you. Relative positioning Appreciate you ✊ - timing 😊😁

@@HUgeFructose At my karate dojo in the Krav class, we are taught to kick through with our roundhouse kicks. I always think of my leg as a baseball bat, and the target as the ball I'm supposed to swing my bat through and into. Except the ball is usually lower.

Could be wrong, but think it depends. If you throw a straight, ive been thought that you want to snap the punch. If you snap it, you can rattle the brain leading to a lnockout. If you push through a straight , you will negate that effect.

The relax part usually confuses a lot of beginners. The only time you tense is the moment of impact. This concept applies not only to boxing but also to alot of sports and martial arts. This is one of the ways how athletes' stamina and endurance seems to be longer than the average human. Bonus this also allows better accuracy and control while being fast

I thought i was getting rolled by him cuz he was wailing on me but just one good punch was enough to toss up the gloves. Edit: I wanna clarify my friend has a bit more experience than me it seems, hes a lot better with foot work and really deals out the punches

To expound and combine your second and third points - pretend your arm is a whip, and that you want to crack it as loud as you can, but instead of pulling back to crack it, you imagine driving your fist right through target.

Tony is a great guy to take advice from so don’t take this the wrong way im not disagreeing but i just wanna remind any beginners out there that punching through your target is for power punches specifically. You still want to learn how to generate power with an explosive snapping motion too. One fluent motion back and forth. Hips move with your shoulder when you punch. Even the snapping motion can generate a lot of power when u get it right and thats often what youre gonna use to set up the power shot. Again tho hes not wrong about following through on your power shots but its just something to consider for beginners
