Trying to understand why the coil over bottom hole would not line up up. Was it the ridges on the stock spindle ?

The base of the coilover was making contact with the spindle. And the hole was off by maybe 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch.

Yes most do but not always fully, so most the time it's best to top it off

Did ypu have to grind your spindle to get the coilovers to fit?

Yes part of the knuckle on the back side. Took like 10 min. I show it in the video

I don't know what video you were watching but I literally show you how to do everything. If you need to see me turn a nut with a wrench in order to understand then you probably shouldn't be doing this job.. like my father says.. common sense isn't all that common.
