The reason for baby elephant hesitated to cross the stream was this filming dude and his car TOO NEAR to the elephants making them nervous and baby elephant sensed it from mother and became stressed. Finally the mother elephant had just one way and evicted the car away and so the filming got interfered and car moved backwards. After that baby elephant could easily cross over the stream. So long time to understand that clear message from elephants.

When we went on a safari there was a baby elephant and mother . The guide parked the jeep far enough away and told us not to talk or even move, When the baby and mom crossed the road the mother elephant picked up some small pebbles and dirt and threw it our way. The guide said it is a gesture that she is telling us that stay back away from her baby . Because of the mother elephant perceives danger or threat she will attack, to protect her baby. Elephants are amazing graceful and gentle
@francesdupierry99095 жыл бұрын
Exactly the correct behavior on the part of the guide. This is the right way to view wild life. For both the animal's sake as well as for the people. He put his passenger, a tourist, in a dangerous position. The cars at the far end were also wrong too. They were further away but should have retreated when the baby started having trouble.

How the video ends was a disappointment because we didn’t get to see the baby cross, but seeing how patient momma was with her baby was priceless.🌹💕

We got to watch 6 adorable minutes of an elephant family in the wild. We admired the amazing patience of the Momma and the fear from the baby, and big sister sticks around to help. I loved it. Yes, the camera got distracted at the wrong moment, but it doesn't diminish how much I enjoyed the video. How many times have you looked back at something you were super afraid of, just to discover that it was nothing more than this little, bitty puddle? The negative comments are unnecessary.

Next time, BACK OFF to give them space. Same to the other tourists on the other side. Elephants are intelligent, they would have walk down the road to cross where there was no water but you all stood IN THEIR WAY!

Paroh 301 The baby elephant NEEDED to learn how to cross that tiny body of water by themselves or with the help of their mom/pack; no humans. What if he needed to cross a bigger one later on? We cannot do everything for animals or they wouldn’t survive in the wild. Its like ripping the cocoon out of a butterfly before it emerges. You’ll be making them skip a crucial step.

Wish she would stop talking and laughing and leave the innocent elephant's alone. The elephant's were showing her sign's to give them their space and stop staring and making them feel uncomfortable. Some people have no common sense at all and then they're stupid enough to film their ignorance.
