I think that the careless bomb thing is thematically clear. He is not careless, until he is not the strongest baddie. The roll first hits the strongest (itself), but it cannot damage itself, so nothing happens. Once he is low on health (lower than other baddies), he is more chaotic, thus bomb careless effect actually triggers.

The goblin king careless bombing is thematic in that if you can position the 1 points he summons by him with other gearbox’s like picket or gasket, he will be doing damage to them for you. That’s why he is called the mad king...

I know this is super late but the fatigue death strategy while running away doesn't work that way because starting with the fatigue rounds enemies are allowed to move diagonally - which means they can always get to you in two moves.

after watching you play this game i have a feeling u might like a patches and picket combo at picket has def dice he can lock and is good at defending but also has a shield bash ability that can turn def to attack also some of his abilities allow u to give def to others generally a team based on survivability they got through everything in the core game no problem

Can’t you roll liquid life and put in your active slot and use it on yourself when you get KO? On your first fortunate loot card

Well.... the dice tray is from fantasydice.com/ but... what I did was to detach the middle part from the outer part. You aren't supposed to do this though as it is glued in place...
