I am 425 at the scale no weight added. 5”8”. Motor moved to right as far as I can. Seat tight to motor. No room to move any further. 😂

We run light 340lbs and heavy 375lbs and cross the scales around 380-385 We have the seat more right to help more weight off the left. This helped us get our numbers We may try the super heavy 400 lbs class next year

we run higher left and when we get 4 wheel drift we change the left front air pressure either raise it or lower it. the drift actually comes from a perfect balance a quarter pound will make a difference

Good video. I've got the same issue. Without any additional lead I cross the scales at almost exactly 400 pounds. I run clone heavy (375) and clone super (425} and when I add weight to make the 425 minimum I found that if I mount it all on the right side my kart gers through the corners better than when I'm in the 375 class with no additional weight. Like you my engine is as far right as possible and I'm tight against the chain guard. If I'm gonna keep running in heavy I'm definitely going to have to go on a diet lol!

High left, high cross. You can be faster. But need to be 100% dead on tires where I run at. There for I run low left and lower cross. As I’m not the best on tires yet.

Are 8.25" LR rims still a thing? Most I see are 8.5". This always helped us with LR grip if we needed it. Been a long time since I raced but

They are not all that common now a days. Usually 8.5 or 8.75
