Currently, big probably Devon just mocks with him on the table. And Kydyrgali is too technical and too fast for him. These opponents are too soon for Alexey. First he needs to pull couple people before he pull seasoned armwrestlers. Yet you underestimate John too much. He doesnt need to beat him 6-0 order to have a chance against Kydyrgali. Strength vise John stronger than Kydyrgali, the difference John is too old and doesnt have same reaction time or power. On the other hand there is no much difference Kydyrgali and John even today.

Voevoda looks incredibly strong (also in the recent interviews you can see his forearms look big), he is probably training seriously. That said we can't know how much of that strength he is able to translate on a table, I think here Morozov was taking it easy at the table

Full in shape Veovoda can beat anybody. Sadly his a bit old now 43 years old. He won't be as strong as he was 24/25 years old his prime years are behind him but his still is strong but his stamina and endurance is yet to be tested hope he does well.

Also he take a ton of roids and giving it all since its his last hurrah if you will thats why he doesn't care at this stage. I wish the same as you brother but John can't even practice much let alone train these days..he said training leaves him sore for days and the gains are marginal at best..bad endurance means he can't pull for more than 10 mins...the stem cells didn't work as he'd hoped and the shoulder is as bad as ever..his hand and wrist are still formidable but he's got a lot of issues to overcome..I'm hoping against hope that he wins

My words exactly brother. But John has one bad side, when it comes to training our John is lazy. Of course that lazyness also comes from old age and from too much experience. John armwrestles more than 45 years and he basically tired and has no fire in him anymore. I can understand its so fookin normal he is 60 years old for christ sake. But we fans are greedy we cant get enough to see John. But personally I finally accept the fact, Johns time has passed. Now there are new bloods on the field. They are more hungry more fresh and ambitious most importantly they are young.

Alexey is a legend and still extremely strong but I doubt he could compete at the top level without a whole load of competition matches. Morozov is turning into an absolute monster but he doesn't look juiced. What I will say is that those old school guys know all about taking the wrist. It's arm-wrestling lesson number one. It's not the be all and end all but you have to work twice as hard to win when your wrist is compromised.

Voevoda is still very strong lifting weights, but we can see that for now there's still a huge gap between him and the top superheavies at the table. Morozov is barely committing in that practice and when he does Alexey can't do anything. Is that enough for Brzenk? Possibly, with months to prep also. But competing with the elite pullers in the open class seems out of question for now, and maybe Voevoda doesn't even want to compete in the open anymore either.

Almost nobody has ever injured their biceps in short position. Only in complete long position. Like when when trying to preacher curl or deadlift with straight arms or when boxers throw punches and biceps comes off when the arm straightens. Both of them clearly started curling with their biceps in safe positions.
