Hello from Thailand. Sorry that I can't really express this in Japanese. I'm glad you got to try our river shrimps! As you mentioned at the end, this type of shrimp is better on grill. I would suggest you try to make Thai style seafood chilli sauce to go with it! The other common menus are various type of herb bake and the famous Tom Yum Kung dish.

There are several videos on people catching them and cooking them in Hawaii. Just look under "hawaii prawns" and you'll find the videos. They were introduced to be a food source to Hawaii in the 1950s and they are considered an invasive species now.

The texture soft is because the prawn frozen, if the prawn not frozen it has crunchy and bouncy texture
This shrimp was exported from my country, and actually can growth up to 1/2kg per one shrimp. The meat became soft after it had been frozen, so I recommend you to try the fresh one (especially tennen shrimp from the river). The best way to eat is to grilled it with charcoal, which we called "Kung Maenam Pao" or "กุ้งแม่น้ำเผา"

Yes those things grow big. My local market has them which surprises me, and I almost bought a few to try out yesterday. Maybe I will, after all.
Hello from Thailand Kaneko san. Excited to see you try one of our best seafood! As the other comments already said, I highly recommend trying the charcoal grilled version. The roasted aroma from the shell is combined with the meat and miso, and it’s very addictive 🤤 For sauce we always go with Thai style seafood sauce, but if you still dislike coriander, any lime based sauce with some garlic should work ~ Lastly there is a waste bag on the head that you should remove before eating the miso.

Agreed 👍 plus the miso with hot rice topped up with Thai style seafood sauce or soybean sauce was such a great combination.
