She knew a guy that inherited an old store that had a bunch of old stock. Couldn’t really see the mouse trap to well but looked like an older one, believe it or not some can be very desirable. I have to confess I sort of collect mouse and rat traps have them displayed on a shelf in my kitchen. Have an old fishing lure that looks like a mouse in one of them, kind of fun

People would spend 40 hrs there looking through everything for matching glass. Especially blue and onyx. Made a ton of money. Vintage christmas sold very well. My best sellers where toys from the 60s. People would fight over who touched it first lol Careful with aome of that older atuff like the wallpaper glue, asbestos was a wonderful ingredient in the 60s and 70s

Those Christmas tags....my Aunt used to make some that looked almost identical to the stack you found. She recycled & repurposed before that was the cool thing to do. She would ask for everyone's old Christmas cards, then she would use other scraps of colored & textured papers, as well as scraps of ribbon & yarn. Then she went at it with pinking shears & hole punches to make those cute little gift tags. Wondering if she got the idea from a ladies or craft magazine from the 80's because yours look very similar to ones I used & ones I STILL HAVE. She also made little Valentines cards recycling larger Valentines cards, & then wedding & general use gift tags or cards using B-day & Anniversary cards. I'm getting excited about this & may have to start making them too!!
