In this video you will learn what the Tool Center Point, the TCP, actually is and why you need it. I will show you how to easily define it and what the best method for achieving an exact measurement for more precise programming.

Hello Mr. Werner Hampel. I am a student working on a similar robot and first things first, I appreciate your efforts and contributions to the robotics community. I would like to ask for reference materials that influenced the choice of 4 different measurement being sufficient to calibrate the TCP and the mathematical transformation from the 4 measurements to the extracted TCP. I would also appreciate reference material for the other methods of TCP calibration.

When creating a TCP is it always necessary to move A4, A5 and A6 in minus direction or is that irrelevant?

Once we fix the TCP point. After some time we change the robot position that time same process is require. Also is there any specific area is require for tcp tool position or we can fix the tcp tool is any where?

Once the TCP is zeroed how does that translate to a prepared program created in simulation software (ROBOdk). I have a KR16 to learn how to program with. Discovered your channel recently and it's perfect for me as a beginner.
