Fear Inoculum was Danny’s album. He was the focus of every song on the record. It’s a showcase of just how ridiculously skilled Danny on the drum. And proof that he’s better right now than he’s been and he was already an insane drummer. Someone cranked the dial of his ability and skills at drumming up 15 then broke the dial off. Every song has the crazy drum section I’ve ever in my life. He stole the show, he is the highlight of the album, I don’t think one could deny that. Hell he’s even the Star of the lives, everything is centered around him… literally. I’m struggling to even describe what seeing them live is like, especially if you ate 3 tabs of acid. And then had something akin to a sign from universe. Telling you something, not at all at once but as a series of events that’s started the night you bought the tickets, and periodically kept happening in the months leading up to the show. To arriving at the show, being center stage in the pit 9 rows back and the person in front of you is only as tall as your shoulders… then the tabs kick in and you feel an insane energy from the music and the band playing. It was akin to a spiritual experience. The energy their performance creates was palpable. Then the intermission happens… they’re playing Astroids for the Atari on the massive screen. You grandfather who raised had passed away exactly 10 month, TO THE EXACT DATE, the previous year… and his favorite game that he played for hours in 80’s when he bought an Atari for my dad… that game was Astroids. I shit you not… get home, then the next day eat the last 3 tabs of the 6 you had… and you lie in bed listening to their albums over and over and over, contemplating everything in your life and find the resolve to cut ties with certain people and go rehab. If there’s only thing you ever do in your life, go see Tool live. If you’re a fan and haven’t experienced them live, you need to go see them. Tool’s live shows are an experience unlike any other.

I doubt it's really about cookies. In the 90's there were these very powerful ecstasy tabs that were white, very large, and had specks of brown flecks in them. They were called of course, chocolate chips. To this day they're the best I've ever done. New stuff is garbage in comparison.
@seth_before_dishonor4 жыл бұрын
I remember those and the brown specs were because it was heroin based. Use to eat those like candy in my raver days.
@nitemareman14 жыл бұрын
@@seth_before_dishonor Very common misconception. The heroin thing was always said but the fact is those were straight pure MDMA. Wouldn't make much sense to waste money adding a few flecks of smack to the pill mix. Real heroin would just disappear making the pill a darker tan. The chips were pure MDMA flake in the pill buffer. But were those things DANK or what?? Anything else I've ever tried was a major let down.
