Those D bits are a real european thing. One of our key copying machines uses D bits to make dimple shaped cuts for forgien type keys.

Yes, tiny ones are used as watch reamers and all types of shapes added to the tip for engraving machines, this application is somewhat new to me.

Yes this cutter cuts on both ends, the cutter does not have to work very hard it should work

Yes, those are finished and stored carefully using light bulbs to prevent condensation, thanks!
