Machining a grinder rest 1

Well Dee Dee, you got me. You kept showing that beautiful B&S milling machine, and I couldn't take it anymore. So I searched, and searched, and then I searched some more... Well, lo and behold, turns out that there was at least one other still out there in the wild. I guess I just realized that it would simply be impossible to live the rest of my life without one. 😂

These mills are interesting, I am more used to the K & T though

@@deedeeindustrialsuperprecision Yeah, originally that's what I wanted, a K&T model H or the like. But then I saw your B&S and thought that it looked really neat, had all the same features, and most importantly was brown and Sharpe, I'm a big B&S fan in general. So truthfully I was looking for either machine to become available, every day for about the last 2 years, checking CL and FB market, auctions, etc. I did find a cherry K&T at one point with a TON of tooling and accessories but the guy wanted like $7K for it, so I had to pass. Then this popped up and I jumped on it. It's covered in rust and grime so it needs some TLC, but mechanically it's good. There will be some vids of it on my channel at some point soon.

@@deedeeindustrialsuperprecision I have a 15" Bridgeport rotary table with a baby 6" Kurt on top.....I cant lift the rotary by my self....but for 150 clams, I could not pass up buying it....
