There are concerts, and there are Tool shows. There is a distinct difference. My first Tool show was this tour, Winston-Salem, NC. Learned the difference that night.

@ 5:55 danny loses a drumstick but still keeps the beat. friggin boss.
@matthewgarcia30325 ай бұрын
Alot of what Danny does is linear so if he can get his other hand to the drum there's no way he's missing a note. Guy is a beast the way hes able to reach back and forth from one end of the kit to the other with power is amazing.
@cambranson4 ай бұрын
Know what, I watched out for him losing the drumstick and just thought he varied the riff rather than losing the stick! He should keep that variation 😊

I love seeing awesome videos like this with great fans, where even though one could complain that the video quality was lacking or that the sound wasn't all that great, yet still, at almost 7,500 views, it still has no dislikes, when it seems like almost every video that gets posted no matter what it is always has a few dislikes, if for no other reason than people being contrarian, nit picking, or non-fans who stumble on the vid. Thanks for the upload.

20th time that i've watched the video then i realize 5:55. The prove he's human
@darkySp4 жыл бұрын
He keeps the beat going with only his right arm. That's extremely difficult to do, since most musicians drive a beat, riff or melody from context and anticipation of what comes next. So, when you take the left hand out of the equation, the beat becomes "incomplete" and you instinctively stop, because you don't know how to proceed without your left hand. Danny just kept going with his left arm. That's a pretty robotic thing.
@matteofacci36324 жыл бұрын
50th time I watch this I think. What a incredible experience everytime. This is actually the holy trinity
@Interloper5673 жыл бұрын
i love how it ramps up with each song and triad is such an energetic end to it. Each song works so well and it could have been put together as one song on an album and nobody would know otherwise. It is pretty much a perfect trio of art put together.
