I had the vip ticket to go to this Friday night event. Then a day before I Went on a disgusting drug binge in Austin tx missed my flight to Louisville and missed the whole show. It’s something I’m regretting hard still right now. Makes me sick. Don’t do drugs kids. I’m trying again to get clean. It’s hard.

You did miss a kickass show in Louisville at Louder Than Life. Megadeth was killer , then Godsmack that evening, and Tool was just amazing. Their show was top notch and their sound and stage show was unmatched. Friday may have been the best day out of the entire festival. Glad i was there!!!!

OR did you get any merch? If so what did you get? Was there a mosh pit? Did you go into it? SHARE IT ALL! I -wanna- need to know. 😂😂 The closest I've _ever_ gotten to seeing Tool is at a music festival back in 1999, I think? _(Might_ have been 2000?) This brand new band played, maybe you've heard of them, A Perfect Circle? They'd just released their very 1st album & I didn't know who they were & I wasn't a Tool fan just yet so I had no idea who Maynard was either. It was a good concert from what I remember. _Except_ for the fact that the stupid weather kept pushing everything later & later. (Thunder & heat lightning (no rain) ALL weekend long!) The venue was shit! They sold water at $6/ bottle yet beer was only $8?! The very worst is that they had ONE SONG they kept repeating on a loop all day everyday for _hours,_ in between the bands sets. I'm talking the storms kept them from going on stage for like 3 hours so they played ONE SONG on repeat to fill the space. We were begging them to just turn it off, they refused! I absolutely loathe that song to this very day, nearly 30 years on because of that weekend. 'One headlight' by The Wallflowers. 48 hours straight, a never ending nightmare, on repeat for 3 straight days. 😣
