Brilliant video on lock picks. When you started as a locksmiths, what lock pick sets did you started with. Great video

My absolute favourite set of picks, beautifully crafted and finished. I still need the Diamond set, and the rakes for the full set,(and a Moki case). These sell so fast on UK Lockpickers, I feel lucky to have them.

Ordered a set a couple of weeks ago and ordered a extra set for in the car to pass time during charging. Love them, can’t recomend them enough😁

Loved the review as it was straight to the point (pardon the pun) and very clear. Most people tend not to go for hooks that are pointy as it's harder to centralise the pick (pick placement) on the pin. I think that's why so many people like the Monkey Paw with its little dippy tip 🤣 to help locate pins or flat tips. 🙂👍

I have a lot of law locks and Peterson however think I’m going to pick up the rakes to start

An informative review. I hear only good things about moki's picks. I'd like to try some but fear I am on the verge of having too many picks! 😁👍🏻

It looks like you could chop the handle support off and have another set just right there

Yes, indeed. 😅

How do these hold up to jimmy longs? I don’t tend to do a lot of single pin picking to be fair!

Today I tried this kind of bad joke. All of them bent in my hand. Like the Petersons. You can use them well, but they are weak.
@locklab101 Жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear about your negative experience. They are thin and flexible so they can pick paracentric warded locks. I would suggest you are using too much tension if they are bending. Do persevere, they are an excellent pick.

I've not found them to be weak, they are fairly flexible though. I'd be very upset if I damaged them. They've been my go to picks for a while, but I'll admit that I've a couple of locks I don't like using them with for fear of weakening/bending too much. Perseverance is absolutely solid advice. Good luck mate.
