Forget getting new material, it's starting to look like they're going to keep reusing/reworking old art and concepts and seeing how cheap they can have it manufactured. If you look at their old CDs before Fear Inoculum you'll see it says Manufactured in Germany or Austrailia and now it looks like they're not trying to create new ideas but to rework old ideas and seeing how cheap they can have it made and how high they can set the price. It's no longer about an artistic presentation but more about how much income they can pull in. My friends, Tool is no longer a work of art, but is now and Icon, and it's most of these idiots faults because most of us have enabled it by spending 100s of dollars on the stupid shit.

The whole point is for people that really get something out of it as an art piece when they look at it and have the money will buy it. I agree its expensive but to me I don't care, if it was more affordable to the masses then they would probably sell out really fast and/or they'd then have to make loads of them to meet demand which is to me not cool either, there's enough plastic in the world already lol.

What will happen is they'll look at it for 5 minutes, set it on the shelf and it'll just sit and collect dust. Now if you want to talk art, the mass produced made in China junk they're selling is far from art. Find me the original hand made one (if there even is on) and I'll agree. Once the design hits the Chinese factory's for reproduction it's not an art piece anymore, it's a replication of the original (if there even is one). Look, Tool has been my favorite band since the mid-90's, but these money grabs are an embarrassment. Especially when there's a huge "made in China" logo on the bottom.
