It sounded like a climax because it is one. Like others in the comments said, its the final track of 3 part music experience. If you feel like checking out the other two, please do the 3 tracks back to back. Or check out other standalone tool songs, they got quite a few, and none bad.

I hate to tell you this, but you messed up a bit. This song is actually the outro to a trilogy of songs meant to be listened together. The first is Disposition, the second is Reflection, the third is Triad. Don't let that discourage you from looking up more Tool. They are one of the best groups in the world and we'd love it if you listened to more
