going to really show my age here. back in my younger days there were these audio/visual creations called “rock operas” The Who had Tommy and Quadrophenia. Pink Floyd- The Wall. the Beatles-yellow submarine and so on. I think Tool could make an epic rock opera!

I honestly think they’ve been working on a movie for all these years, that will coincide with the release of their new album. I hope it’s all CG or animated trippy stuff.

While some may find this boring, I have always wondered about the people (artists) behind the scenes that created this wonderful video. Thanks for posting.

why is everyone saying this documentary sucks? I'm 15 and I grew up listening to tool, APC, and puscifer RELIGOUSLY. i went to many concerts and I watched their music videos many times. its very interesting to see the thoughts and creators behind them. they arent boring, your just not open minded.

its really fascinating just how complex the video creating process is and all of the professionals that come together to create what we enjoy in Tool videos.

How can you guys call this uninteresting? If anything it adds more depth to see their crafts and sculptures and to hear about how their artistic society congregates and how they collaborate with other visual artists.

It's one thing the music is like NO other...the art and visual that Adam and these very innovative teams of minds puts SO much thought/vision, and technology into the their music videos for the ARMY, and i'm sure for themselves is truly incredible. "Hell I cant even attempt to put this into words"... (it blows me away). Adam and these people are on to something FAR, FAR beyond anything we've ever seen and experienced EVER! Having just seen this tonight has made me sit back..scratch my head, "(not really being to explain what the hell I just watched). Thanks to whomever is responsible to bring this all to a life fan. To be so extensive for the bands vid's is truly way ahead of this century's time! I'm so tired i better stop now before I put my foot somewhere I don't want it. Adam and all the rest.....thank you. TOTALLY amazing. I will always listen/watch and try to understand a lot differently from here in. (did this make ant sense)? Somebody...somebody please let me know. J. Detroit. ................"DAMN!" ")

Anyone interested in the spiritual concepts expressed in Tool's music should look into Hindu metaphysical concepts of Brahman, Indra's Net, and karma/reincarnation developed through the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita. Namaste and good luck.

There's so much imagery incorporated into tool videos that I've seen before. The subject matters are deeper than they are letting on I assume. Just a humble opinion from a fellow artist.

guys he reason why they're boring is because they work behind the scences. never see cameras. duh. this is their job in priduction and they told you it. i enjoyed it because as an engineer/fan its dope to know scratch to release

Well for legal reasons it should be noted that it was in Brazil or inside the Amazona because Ayahuasca is legal right there only if it was prepared by a Shaman and if you drink it in the tent they provide

Wow so much deep and meaningfulness of trivial life shit coated with sound sequences and frequencies. Music is the most valuable most important thing in life, where would civilisation be without it? The toyota corolla couldn't have been achieved without music. absolutely amazing powerful shit..... but then again the Quran is pretty spiritually deep and meaningful and has lots of real life uses too. life is so mystical in a hollywoodesqueue sort of way.

there was an earlier leaked version of 10k days that was the original slower speed of the recording. The worldwide release was actually sped up an upped the actual tone significantly which was terrible imo. The original version of the record was slower, deeper, and much more tool sounding than the final poppy version of songs like the pot where his voice is much higher. Listen to it again knowing this and you can hear it immediately.
@HELLCHILDFAN1016 жыл бұрын
Noah Taylor the vicarious song in the first 5 min sounds difrent and that makes me to belive yes i see it coulda been darker but were can we find this leak album?
