Dubsmith 7 That's probably by coincidence. Obviously the world wasn't created in 7 days literally, it's all allegory with the Bible. Alchemically speaking, the septagram represents heaven and earth. The number 3 represents a circle which always indicates the universe, or the divine realm. While 4, the square, representing the material realm, specifically Earth. Sometimes you'll find the 4 points pointing upward, which i think could be considered negative (the material real, ruling over the divine). So 3 pointing up and 4 down, I like to think, is the proper and positive way it should be seen. Another way to look at it is like circling the square. A very important concept in symbolism, esoterica, freemasonry, etc.

In my opinion, the adoption of sacred geometry in itself is not really occult. The use and meaning of such symbols, by those with occult knowledge, probably gives them a whole new meaning. Nobody however seemed to notice unicursal hexagrams in some of Carey's toms. You can see then on his Pneuma live video.. That, at least to me, gives more insight into the genius of this band.
