I hope everyone's having a fantastic night! This series will most likely be put on hold for a bit as I create more freeflow content, it takes me a while to create scripts and research dead emulators, and in the end I start feeling burnt out. So I'm going to try free forming my content a bit more and see if that helps with the next video!

Who remembers Emurayden PSX?

So why not just play on your ps1 at the point
@Valientlink4 жыл бұрын
@@starstruck6274 Because emulation was a lot cooler and more fascinating at the time. It was so obscure and a lot of people just wanted to be able to show their friends

Really good video. History of emulation in general is fascinating. Only 519 subscribers? Shame! You deserve so much more.

Psyke, like most early PS emulators, was likely discontinued due to legal pressure from Sony, which had come to a head in their lawsuits against Bleem! and Connectix Game Station

Very high quality content. Hoping to see your channel get big if you continue! [ just one thing that bugged me was the use of the wrong code example in the Dynamic Recompilation example haha]

Thanks so much! Yeah, I have to super simplify stuff so people get a basic idea of what it is without spending 5 mins on the subject. Welcome to the channel and I hope to see you around more!

Really loving these videos! Very informative, just the mic seems to be a little too quiet, though I'm sure you are aware. I'm looking forward the next Video in the Series, always a treat and much too short.

Really love that you love these videos! As for the audio... Since getting this mic, I didn't realize that Gigabyte's input jacks were so subpar. By boosting the mic, I get far better audio that captures my voice better... With interference which I can't scrub out unfortunately and there's apparently no fix, so I'm hoping on getting a USB/PCIE soundcard that I can use instead.

Good luck! Really looking forward to the next video. The quality of these videos, apart from the unfortunate audio issues, are something you would expect from a channel, with at least tens of thousands of views. Though I guess that comes with amount of effort required to even prepare one of these. You show a lot of potential and I hope your videos get the attention they deserve.

I recall FPSE0.80 was the last publicly released version. FPSE0.90 for PC was never released, but the code which went into FPSE0.90 was eventually ported to Android around 2008. However, been years since I've talked to any of these guys, most have probably all left the scene by now.

Unfortunately, right now I'm working on something that may or may not work out, but it doesn't afford me the time to properly work on my channel. I loved making these videos, and even had about 1/2th the script written for the Sega Genesis one, but I guess I just wasn't enjoying the editing portion, since it always took me so long. And I promised myself I'd only do this as long as I enjoyed it. That being said... Expect me to pop up elsewhere, I'll be releasing a small update on my channel soon explaining what I mean.

In the Early 2k's around the time I was using ePSXe, I Found a DOS PSx Emulator. It worked, not good, but it worked. I tried everything in my power to tweak the DOS Drivers but the emulator wasn't ever updated again
