What a beautiful thing! I love the story about the man who would wake up to find the tools are real. Mr McCreight got a little choked up talking about it. It shows how much this initiative means.

Like I said before. You people have such big hearts. I love what you do and what kind of role model you are for all of us. Tim McCreight...many things I know about jewelry fabrication is from your videos from internet. Fundamentals of Metalsmithing was one of the main reasons I make jewelry today. I hope you will have a very long life and you will be healthy and happy because you give us so much.

I am also an ex jeweler, I fell in love with this trade since I was a boy, seeing my father and my brother working, so seeing this video gave me the goose bumps I could imagine how much they appreciated. Well done and good luck.

I loved this video! They are amazing craftsmen with so little few tools or equipment! I heard about Tool Box Project - from Tim McCreight at ECU's - Metals Symposium - several years ago!! I thought it was so wonderful and have since contributed to it. I hope this project continues for many decades!

I wonder if there couldn't be a way (with the credibility you guys now have) to get the TSA people and counterparts in some countries to donate to your project the boxes of scissors and knives that they confiscate from travelers? It kills me to see all the good things in the big plexi box... some items could definitely be used by jewelers, also fabric artists, dyers, quilters, etc. I have asked about the stuff, in Bolivia and some other countries for instance, and they always give the standard answer that they will destroy it, but I think they re-sell it in some cases....different than donating it ....Something to check out?!
