@@joshimawashi yah nah man I thought the same till u type in mjk fails and then ur like well I guess being in 4 bands for 50yrs takes it tool lol typo *toll lol ill leave it fits well lol. But as much as I hate tio admit it he was in his prime way back then there's a lot of good reasons WHY fear innoculum had ZERO screams the entire of the album n there are even some spots where ur lije ok where's the mjk famous scream it's around the corner any sec then he talks "here we go again" lol but as much as I love the new album 7empest could use some of his screams from the likes of know ur enemy collab with rage against the machine. But yah he maybe in his knowledge prime now but that's like saying 35yr old more wise version of me can get physically BETTER than I was when I was 15 or 25 even! Yeah nah I'm far worse pff now i CAN'T even run or jog due to broken knee so there's that ur vocal cords also have a life span of about as much as the rest of the body lol. Think its kind a objective. The only subjective would be ones tastes if they enjoy clean vocals w/o screams or both mix or 1 over the othet

If you take even one person out of this band , it's no longer tool , with the exception of D'amour ! That whole section between there and 11:16 is my favorite part of this song. The lyrics to this whole piece are incredible, but that particular bit hits me like a truck. It's so good. Aenima is just so good. I love all Tool, but every note of that album is just cemented into my heart and Pushit is my favorite song, period. By anyone, not just Tool. I'm 42 and first heard it when I was 15 and as a result have listened to this THOUSANDS of times and I still love it as much as I did when I was 15, and actually way more now. I've lived long enough to have emotional context to this and ive seen some really toxic relationships play out. This song does that experience justice and doesn't get old. And it shakes my core every time.

Ashley Cosme we weren't probably even a thought when Maynard was killing it on stage lol. Shame that Now we are of gig attending age and he's overcame the unhinged persona. I don't have hopes for a new tool album but I'd kill for a proper live DVD from 95-03 era!

This is the band that i couldn't understand or get into for years. My dad used to play this stuff when i was like 10 and it just didn't sit with me. At 24 i can safely say this band has taken over my life. If you like this band for its sonic and epic soundscapes, try a band called And So I Watch You From Afar... they're from Northern Ireland and they kick ass - different, but hell they can play. ...back to this video - Wow.

Mike B "They're different, but hell they can play" :) yeah more like explosions i guess - instrumental, use of instruments etc, guitar harmonies and what-not. I just thought a good suggestion for anyone that appreciates this stuff - if you're able appreciate Tool, ASIWYFA should be a breeze...

I actually think the exact opposite. Tool is a very complex band , they have many details in their music and sometimes in their live performances those details are fading away . Seen Tool twice so far , i had a blast dont get me wrong BUT the details that they're making tool, tool were missing in some songs. Old Tool obviously were better live { aging sucks } but still i personally prefer to listen to the details. On the other hand Nirvana and Alice dont have that much details , especially Nirvana [minimalist band] that makes them more raw and for me more passionate in their lives . Too bad i've never been in one of their shows ... just youtube

While Danny may be the single-brightest-percussionist known to man, this is clearly a synergistic experience. Such a catharsis would not be possible without all members playing off one another. I saw Metallica for my first concert in 94. I was 17. I don’t remember much about it. But I’m still a big fan to this day. About 2 years ago someone uploaded about 90% of that concert here and I was just stunned that it existed. It was the night before their now-legendary 1994 Woodstock performance, which has been seen by millions. But I never imagined I’d see it again. Buried in the 90’s. What a time it was to be alive and impressionable.
