Good that you highlighted tightening BOTH bevel knobs. The manual touches on it but doesn't emphasize that important step very well.

Just got one for Christmas- excellent video! Question- with the proper blade would you use this on concrete board siding?
@NonieToolsАй бұрын
First of all whoever bought you this for Christmas is an amazing person! Second, I believe Diablo makes a blade for that kind of material. But I'm not sure if it's for a 20mm arbor?

Can the riving knife be removed for plunge cuts in the middle of a board ?
@MattDavis-r6r3 ай бұрын
Riving knife is spring loaded. It will stay out of the way for your plunge cut

What attachment would you use for this tool if you have a dewalt dust extractor?
@toolnut10 ай бұрын
Hard to say since Dewalt has multiple hose sizes. The port on the saw is the same as Festool/Makita and can be easily adapted with an adapter/step adapter. Again comes down to what size hose you are using

Will any Diablo 6 1/4 saw blade fit on this saw or do you have to use only Milwaukee saw blades? The arbor size looks different.
@toolnut Жыл бұрын
Any blade that is 6-1/2" and has a 20mm arbor on it will work Standard 6-1/2" blades are a 5/8" arbor and won't work. Pretty much all track saw brands use a 20mm arbor for the 6-1/4 to 6-1/2" size saws. ALSO make sure that when replacing blades on track saws you are replacing with a blade that has the same KERF so it matches to your splinter strip on the rail or else your cuts will be off

Do you know why my saw I bought in the Netherlands doesn't have the ability to lock it on the rail when cutting under and angle? The knob is missing but looking under the saw you see the black piece for locking into the rail, but without a knob you cant use it...
@steffendetrick Жыл бұрын
It sounds like you got one that slipped through quality control I would contact the seller. Honestly, I almost never use it on mine.
@henkeshuis3615 Жыл бұрын
@@steffendetrick it's also not in the manual so maybe patented already in Europe?
@steffendetrick Жыл бұрын
@@henkeshuis3615 I promise you’re not really missing out on anything. I forget it’s there half the time. But it may be a patent issue with the Makita in the E.U. They don’t really play that Tom foolery over there. I know they made Dewalt rebrand their XR line to 18 V instead of 20 V like over here. Which is good because it’s not a 20 V tool.

What is that glue for on the back side of the blade where the little lazer cut zig zags are?
@toolnut Жыл бұрын
Actually, more of a rubberized filler for the laser cut vibration slots to minimize wobble and warping, which won't affect the cut. Most brands use/do this to their blades. My fingernail easily removed from the back of the blade so once it comes in contact with wood will do the same

I just received mine rail guide for my Milwaukee cuz I had bought one set from Amazon powertec 55 rails but totally junk, So you all know he said all rails work with Milwaukee that not truth 👎 👎 Always buy same brand as your track saw Cuz there is always a difference, I got better the Milwaukee track saw rail 100% happy but again is more expensive but worth it
@toolnut5 ай бұрын
I never mentioned Powertec.......never even heard of them. I mentioned Makita and Festool which are reputable companies and do work with Milwaukee. I would never state something unless it was tested and I knew it worked
