First off, this video is extremely helpful. I have watched numerous videos and yours is the best by far. The most helpful tool you mentioned is the 9-hour battery charge so I don't have to hang wires connecting an external battery.

Thanks for the tips. Do you have any samples of baseball games where you edited and published the clips? You mentioned you can zoom in on certain areas during editing and I'm curious how well the quality is using those settings. Also wondering if it captures plays the outfielders would make or if they are just out too far for the video to show the play clearly. Thanks!

I've updated but with the Hero 8, just don't use the battery, and hook up only the external battery pack.

Its just a caribiner clip, you can purchase on amazon for pretty cheap.

Looking to invest in a GoPro. I have seen many games filmed with GoPro or other action cameras, but my son plays out field. Are you able to zoom into the game during post editing to see something other than the spec of a player and ball that is making a great play? I have searched with no luck in finding such tutorials (on baseball at least). if so what software and settings are you using or recommend. Thanks, very informative video.
