Turbo dork actually redesigned the sensory toy as a pallete 😊bigger dishes will allow us to use more paint at one time. The issue with using the sensory toy is the bowl only allows you to use a few drops of paint

Something that works similiar to the Turbo Dork is pop it fidget devices. I picked up a set. My g/f immediately stole one for actual fidgeting purposes and I use the other one for paint.

For the silicone paint pallet instead just go to the dollar store and get one of those bubble fidget toys they are basically the same but a little smaller but you get A LOT more uses out of one before you need to pop them.

Another great video, full of useful and practical products. I'm gonna grab some of the markers for sure. The Turbo Dork mixing trays look neat, but are kinda pricey. I've been using silicon jewellery resin molds and sweet making molds for years. They do the same thing and are way cheaper from Amazon.

I made my own paint rack out of cardboard. Through trial and error I noticed if you don't have a front rail and you grab a paint you can knock over the one in front and the domino effect begins

Would those acrylic paint markers be good for painting the little figures that come with some 1/35 tank kits?

@@barbatosrex9473 interesting. I have about a dozen figures from various models that I haven't painted yet because I didn't feel confident enough in my painting skills to try. Would using a white base coat sprayed for zenithal highlighting work with those paints or do they go on fairly opaque?

Yo man i've watch your videos for over a year now and i love them,however can you try straining paint? I just did it today by cutting bottles in halves,put fine paper tissues on top and strain my no branded chrome paint,the results aren't massive,the strained chrome paint doesn't have as much metal flakes thus making the paint look less metallic and slight more darker like chrome,im asking you this because im wondering if you can test it out on random paint?

As I've already said, I'm just getting into this hobby and I'm tap into your vast knowledge. Have you ever used hypodermic needles to apply glue. I've used 1cc ones like the size used by diabetics. I used to work for B/D and I could get like 500 ea. for $15.00. Hell of a discount. I'd get them for my neighbor's son Bryan. Any how, as a retired senior, i don't get the employee offer any more.

Many 'regulation makers' in Europe have ruled that all mobile devices must use one standardised charging cable type (USB-C) to eliminate the cash-grab monopoly of proprietary cables. The majority of brands are like "Yeah, okay, no problem"; meanwhile Apple are spitting feathers, and throwing their toys out of the pram 🤣
@randomnickify Жыл бұрын
It was more about using one single charger for every device. Few years back EU parliament has warned everybody "Standardize or Else". Everybody willingly switched to USB-C except the Apple, so now it's a EU law they have to follow. :)
@gregorysmith9706 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, the proprietary cash grab by companies like Apple. 😂 I don't do Apple products for this exact reason. Funny, that many years ago, Apple was whining about Microsoft trying to monopolize their market, and here we are, Apple trying to monopolize the market. 😂
