The fact that you can cut and bend all of the rebar for a stem wall of a 40X80 and the hardest part of the task is pulling the tool off of and putting it back on the tool trailer makes it a no brainer . Why fight the job while trying to get it done ?

I read the entire Ryan’s kzbin.infoUgkxGqOCINHE0Z0E5gxzSdNi9NWGugRY5Hm2 Plans and was able to make a shed plan. Using Ryan’s Shed Plans alone, the shed itself is great. Where I wish I knew more is with respect to ground preparation and foundations. Maybe that's beyond the scope of Ryan’s Shed Plans.

I use this tool on every foundation I pour and the battery lasts around 40 linear feet of wall. You get two batteries and a fast charger so you’re pretty good. Only thing is you need one guy on bandsaw and one guy on metabo to make the most of your time.

as you mentioned alot of times before , these brackets are ICC certified. with that said. if there was any reason what so ever,if they would only think a J hook was necessary, they would have bend a J hook in the factory before welding them on. so i'm in team I instead of team J 👌
@SimgoWood Жыл бұрын
is there some accessories for different radius? The canadian guide of rebar installation ask to put a minimum (1 3\4) radius in the bends of number 5 rebar by using a 90mm (3 1\2 '') chuck. When an engineer told me that I made jig with hard wood instead of a using a vice. A cheater bar make that easy and the jig had an ajustable stop (nothing fancy, just a screw) to make repeatable bends. 0$ to make a jig for a job that requires 250+ bends. I'm still looking for an efficient and cheap method to cut the rebars. A grinder is annoying and a diablo blade is dead after 80 cuts.

why stop at a J-hook, if you have 4 rods you bend one J, second O, third and fourth S's. Sure, you'll be spending half an hour per bracket, but think of the safety factor!
