The main unit, zero difference. It just comes with a stand / battery in the stand base :D

Can you switch this back and forth from the stand to walmount? I have kids so I’m not sure if I want it to be permanently portable, but I can see places that it would be handy to have the stand.

It will. Just use the HDMI cable connection. Wirelessly, no, mirror only, Mac doesn't support wireless extension. The only way to workaround it is by using the wireless transmitter I used in the video.

This can't be called a "TV," in the tradition-sense, since it doesn't have an RF jack for OTA reception.
