Thank you for this. I don't know how come i didn't see it before. It now works even better with the new "Synched blocks"!

Yeah, the synced block makes it much easier to pull off. Glad Notion implemented it.

Thank you. The combination of humor and seriousness - I love it. The attention to detail - brilliant. Thank you for the entertainment AND tips & tricks that I will implement in my Notion Life Operating System.

If you highlight the emojis on the bar and select a text color, then hovering over an emoji button will make the bar that underlines it take on that same color.

I got a lot more in the work, my current one is taking a bit longer though but hope to have it finished this week. Made it to complex so had to fine tune it.

This is amazing! But how can I get that hover effect on each icons?
@toolsontech Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if we still can, Notion has changed a lot since I released the video with it's own synced block setup and such.

I added the emojis as columns, dragging it to the side until a line appears and then drop it. after that when I clicked on a emoji the link appears
@toolsontech4 жыл бұрын
If the emojis are in columns then they are different blocks I think, do they update on other pages if you update them in your space?

@toolsontech11 ай бұрын
Hey, this video is quite old and Notion released their synced blocks function in the meantime. You can get the same result using that.

Thanks for this. Pretty awesome. Is there a way to add a more custom icon that is not part of the defaults ? I would like to use icons from here : www.notion.vip/icons/
@toolsontech3 жыл бұрын
Oh, I missed this one. That would be awesome, but I haven't found a solution for this yet since you can't link images and icons can only be added as pages. If I do find a way to link images then I'll be sure to put it in a video.
